Hello dear friends,

It’s been awhile since I last sent you a little HELLO with something new & exciting about Correatown.
Ummm, let me change that now. We have joined forces with Daniel Ahearn & The Jones to release a Limited Edition *split 7 Inch* record with handmade artwork (I mean, are you surprised? No. There is stitching, screen-printing, precise folding & love involved in this paper sleeve.)

So we’ve put together an ALL AGES (yes, ALL AGES) hootenanny of a fete this coming Tuesday evening March 6th at one of the coziest spots in town, Echo Country Outpost. We’ve invited a few friends to play short & sweet sets too.

There will be a fire pit, some drinks & homemade tasty treats, artwork, music, friends, magic in the air, & fire-eaters (no, that part is not so true- no fire eaters, sorry. I was hoping to lure you in). But all of those other fantastic details will be happening. And did I mention the other artists? My good friend, the wonderfully talented Kathleen Grace will unveil her new project with Erik Kertes—-> Fleeting Heart. And Haroula Rose will serenade you into the night.

That’s the scoop. We’re writing new songs and working on new music, so there won’t be many shows in the upcoming months.
Gotta make ‘em count, right?

I find it hard to keep my mind racing with good ideas around December 3rd,
every year. Clockwork. It happens.

I’ve been working away at finishing up all the Kickstarter rewards… nearly done.
Just a few BIG GUYS left.
I wake up everyday thinking, holy shit girl you gotta get these things done.

I’m also writing new songs.
Dreaming up the coming year.
What do you want your year to taste like? What color? What sounds?

Time to fill the reservoir.
Look back in my mind at moments that made:
my heart sing, or my eyes water, or my face feel good.

A few months ago, we met a really talented film director named Isaac Ravishankara at one of our shows at The Echo. He works with the production company The Masses, & they asked us to participate in a week-long film workshop for kids. Isaac and The Masses titled the project OMG! Cameras Everywhere! and worked toward establishing the program as a way to provide a free and safe environment for children to develop artistically using the medium they knew best – film. The project has now grown into an entity of it’s own and you can check out their great work here: http://www.omgeverywhere.org/
